Shabana Waraich is a passionate visual artist whose work delves into the unseen and evokes emotion through the lens. Her journey began in childhood with a cherished family 35mm camera. More recently, the gift of a DSLR reignited her love for photography.

Her work is characterised by its ability to reveal the beauty, complexity, and emotion hidden within everyday life, offering viewers a glimpse "beyond the veil."

When she is not behind the lens, Shabana dedicates her time to empowering others to realize their creative potential. She provides volunteering opportunities for adults and students, particularly individuals facing disabling barriers, such as those with learning or physical disabilities or mental health challenges, and supports older adults in art lessons.

Outside of her community work, Shabana enjoys pottery, lino printing, and traveling, activities that further fuel her creative spirit and enrich her perspective as an artist.
