My name is Nour I am a mother I have a beautiful family, my husband and two wonderful children. I am from Syria my city Damascus, one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in the world. I work in this life as a housewife, I take care of my family and I have many hobbies. My favourite hobby is reading I love it also handcrafts, travelling, cooking, and photography. I currently live in the Uk in Cheltenham after the war that happened in my country. Now I am studying English at college. I know about myself that I am a simple person who loves life .I am shy I am proud of my religion because it is a peaceful religion i hope peace for everyone and in all the world.
The greatest blessing in my life is that I am a Muslim.
During the photography course, I had the opportunity to accompany a group of veiled women, each with a unique story worth documenting. The experience was more than just photography, it was a visual dialogue about identity and self-expression. I saw how a photograph can reflect the inner strength and beauty of a Muslim woman, far from any ready-made templates. This journey confirmed to me that conscious photography does not only capture appearance, but also conveys the feelings and stories behind each shot.
