What makes me ME??? So here goes… I am a mother, a devoted caregiver to 3 beautiful amazing children, all very different, all wonderfully unique Alhumdolillah.
I’m a sales assistant in a terrific fabric shop, it’s a family business and customers often call it ‘Aladdins cave!’ I feel immense joy in helping customers with what they are looking for.
I love sewing, creativity, arts and crafts. I am passionate about nature which I find fascinating and often wonder and marvel at.
I enjoy sports such as swimming, netball and badminton.
My main hobby is writing poetry, especially funny ones as I love making others laugh.
My friend Dee tells me that I am diminutive in size but enormous in character and that my humour goes deep into my eyes and soul.
My faith and belief in god is extremely important to me and keeps me grounded, my hijab is a part of me and I love wearing it especially in different colours.
Hand on heart I would not be here today if it wasn’t for my incredible children, awesome family and wonderful friends supporting me in my new role as a widow.
I am extremely grateful and truly blessed with amazing people surrounding me.
I take each day as it comes and find joy and happiness in the little things that make life worth living.
