I have always been passionate about representing women and challenging societal barriers. My work is to create opportunities for women to feel empowered to make choices,

We all want a welcome and diverse community in Gloucester, one of respect, understanding, care, compassion, creativity.

My mindful photography journey began after the loss of my dear friend, I was struggling to cope and was looking for something to sit well with me and my faith.

Recently after another life challenge  I had the opportunity to train as a facilitator with Ruth Davey https://www.look-again.org/ who has recently won an award for this methodology. I absorbed the training like a baby learning to hold a pencil for the first time, took notice, looked again, more importantly learning the lesson of

تَوَكَّل

Tawakkul

Tawakkul is believing in Allah that, whatever He has planned for us it has something good in it, even though it apparently seems difficult or tough. It may increase our Eman, remove our sins and later that same hardship can bring a great and long lasting blessing.

I could no longer keep this to myself, I hoped to share something authentic and in my own truth to bring this to my community.
